EAST PROVIDENCE – CareLink, a nonprofit healthcare network of post-acute and community-based providers serving older adults and adults with disabilities, elected its 2023-24 board of directors at the organization’s annual meeting held recently at the Pawtucket Country Club.
Burrillville resident Matt Trimble, the president and CEO of Saint Elizabeth Community in East Greenwich, was elected to serve as chairman. Trimble, who previously served as Saint Elizabeth’s chief operating officer, was named president of the organization in 2020. He is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Rhode Island and a former chairman of LeadingAge RI.
Others named to the board include Vice Chair Diana Franchitto, president and CEO of HopeHealth; Secretary Colette Silverman, executive director of Scandinavian Communities; and Treasurer Joshua Segal, executive director of Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Garrett Sullivan, executive director of Saint Antoine Community in North Smithfield was named among the trustees. He will serve with Laura Dos Santos, director of operations for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence and acting administrator of St. Clare; Roberta Merkle, executive vice president of strategic initiatives at Saint Elizabeth Community; and Haigouhi Corriveau, administrator of The Seasons East Greenwich.
Trustees-at-Large are Maureen Maigret, former R.I. State Representative and current chairperson of the state Long Term Care Coordinating Council’s Aging in Community Subcommittee; and Robert Leach, vice president/senior relationship manager at HarborOne Bank.
CareLink staff with a seat on the board is CEO Chris Gadbois.
