Patricia Hope Stein (nee’ Moore), 67, passed away on November 15th, 2023, in Beavercreek, Oregon. Born on November 2nd, 1956, in Rhode Island, Patricia was known for her kind, loving and adventurous spirit.
Patricia graduated from Burriville High School and furthered her education by earning an Associate Degree followed by an Educational Degree. Her career was marked by significant roles, including positions as an underwriter at EF Hutton and Standard Insurance. She later found her passion in education, serving as a librarian and media coordinator in the North Clackamas School District, where she touched the lives of many students and educators.
Beyond her professional life, Patricia was deeply involved in her community. She was an avid skier, hiker and loved to travel. Her love for animals was evident in her dedication to raising dogs, cats, goats and chickens. Patricia also devoted much of her time to volunteering at the local library, the humane society and a dog pantry, consistently demonstrating her commitment to service.
Patricia’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her family who survived her, including her husband Scott, her kids Blake and Amy, her sister Ann, her brother Steve and her mother Alma. Patricia’s warmth, humor, and thoughtful nature will be missed by all who knew her. Patricia’s life was a testament to her beautiful soul and her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
