April fools’

The Glocester Business Association announced on Tuesday, April 1 that after months of planning, they could reveal that Glocester will be home to Rhode Island’s first-ever underwater shopping plaza.

“That’s right—starting next year, businesses will have the opportunity to set up shop in our brand-new Scuba Mall, located at the bottom of the Bowdish Reservoir!” GBA noted on social media. “Imagine browsing your favorite local stores while fish swim by, or grabbing a coffee in a café with waterproof mugs.”
