Whenever a property sells….the NEW OWNER gets their own tax account, new number. The former owner tax account is closed. Forever to show the address sold.
So my concern, is, that neighboring houses to my late parent, sold much later, and are proper. However, my late parent’s home owner tax account, is being used as the NEW OWNER account, showing parent’s name, BUT having address of the NEW REALTY address….why? This needs to be fixed. Needs separating of new owner proper.
The house was sold months ago….my late parent’s address should reflect the address sold, and be closed. What is going on here? Why is this new owner being concealed? No account in his own name and entity? Everyone else is correct….sold all around the neighborhood…later. Fix it please…..
This may be better handled contacting the town to have it fixed. This is a news site providing general information.
