The town’s annual Kids Day in the Park, put on by the Parks & Recreation Department, will take place on Saturday, July 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pacheco Park, with kids activities including touch-a-truck, booths, bounce houses and a hose down by North Smithfield Fire & Rescue Service.
Visit the grounds of North Smithfield High School at 412 Greenville Road that evening for a second event, with fireworks, food trucks and music starting at 6:30 p.m., and the display to kick off after dark.
