Detour
The Glocester Police Department is warning drivers that eastbound traffic on Putnam Pike heading towards the rotary will be detoured down Pine Orchard Road starting on Wednesday, June 12 through Friday, June 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Station tour
Speaking of Glocester police, Chief Joseph Delprete has announced that a second opportunity to tour the police station at 162 Chopmist Hill Road will be held on Tuesday, June 11 starting at 6 p.m. During the tour, the department aims to showcase the importance of the facility and will discuss the need for a remodel and addition to the building. Guests are invited to attend and ask questions.

Entertainment in Glocester this week includes a patio show at Assados Kitchen & Bar at 102 Putnam Pike with All or Nothing to play on Saturday, June 15 from 6 to 9 p.m.
At Hill’s Tavern at 417 Putnam Pike, it’s LIVE! on Friday night, Trigger South on Saturday, and Who Shot JR. with a 2 p.m. show on Sunday.
Cady’s Tavern at 2168 Putnam Pike will feature Who Shot JR on Friday, with Tucker’s Creek on Saturday, and their weekly Roadhouse Blues Sunday starting at 3 p.m.
