BURRILLVILLE – Kids will be spending a lot more time outdoors as the nicer weather arrives and that could include time spent around cars and trucks parked in driveways across the area and region. It is extremely important to take measures to keep kids safer around vehicles and protect them from vehicle entrapment.
When bringing groceries inside, always close trunks, rear hatches and every door, to insure that little kids cannot enter vehicles and become trapped. Lives are hectic and sometimes oversights can put children in harm’s way. Injuries are preventable. If a child is around you while you engage in vehicle activities, check to make sure they are not left inside vehicles unintentionally.
It takes only a few minutes to double check. Help prevent vehicle entrapment.
