On Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10:30 a.m., Solé Sheibar, from Learning Spanish with Solé, will be sharing a bilingual storytime for young children and their families at Jesse Smith Memorial Library at 100 Tinkham Lane in Harrisville. Solé has shared her bilingual storytimes and Spanish classes for kids at the Kingston Free Library, Westerly Public Library, Newport Public Library, Warwick Public Library, Cross Mills Public Library and now the Jesse Smith Library. Families don’t need to know Spanish to participate and enjoy this storytime, best for kids age 5 and under with an adult caregiver. The program is fully bilingual and interactive. Participants will sing, dance, play instruments and learn while having fun.

The children’s program has been sponsored by the Friends of the Jesse Smith Library. Registration is required. For more information or to register, visit the Children’s Department at the Jesse Smith Memorial Library or call (401) 710-7800.
