The Burrillville Police Department will hold a Citizens Police Academy for 11 weeks starting September 24 in the community room of BPD headquarters 1477 Victory Highway on Wednesday nights from 6 to 9 p.m. Residents are 17 and older are invited to see how crimes are investigated and view the police department from the inside.
The class in limited to 25 participants and spaces fill up quickly. Applications can be picked up at the police department or found here. Questions can be directed to Lt. Robert Veader or Det. Alex Rosa at (401) 568-6255.
