NORTH SMITHFIELD – Just two years after sharing a story based on the miracles she says she’s witnessed, both small and large, throughout her life, Beverly Munyon has a new tale to tell.
Munyon, a North Smithfield resident since she purchased her dream home in 2005, has released “Buds Bloom in the Most Unexpected Places,” a novel she says is about, “how God can write straight with crooked lines.”
“In my book, I explore the unexpected twists and turns in my life and how they ultimately guided my husband and me to a place we never imagined,” said Munyon. “It’s a journey that encourages readers to trust in God’s plan, even when life takes unexpected paths.”

Munyon’s first book, “The Boy of Many Miracles” chronicles, in part, medical challenges during the early years of her first grandson’s life. Published by Covenant Books, her successful writing debut was sold on Amazon and at local bookstores, as well as the gift shop at Burrillville’s Shrine of the Little Flower, where Munyon works.
“Managing the Little Flower gift shop at St. Theresa’s Church has allowed me to connect with wonderful people and learn so many incredible stories,” she said.
Her second book has also been published by Covenant, an international Christian-focused company.
“Have you ever heard the expression, ‘God writes straight with crooked lines’?” asks the overview, referencing the phrase, which reflect a belief in a larger plan. “This inspirational book explores just that. Have you ever felt your life was headed in one direction, only to find it veering off into another? And then another? Each twist and turn is part of your unique journey toward a fuller life.”

“Don’t despair-hold onto hope! Listen for God’s quiet, gentle voice stirring within you, guiding you to where you are meant to be,” it notes. “This book will take you from our simple encounter to the remarkable place we find ourselves today, years later. Take the risk to follow where you believe God is leading you. Trust that He will always guide you in the right direction. Embark on this journey and discover the beauty in every unexpected turn.”
Munyon said that if anyone is interested in a signed copy of the book, they can reach out to her directly at [email protected]. Both her books are also available at St. Theresa’s Shrine at 35 Dion Drive, which is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
