BURRILLVILLE – The car show season is coming to an end for area automotive events here in the region soon, and it’s very important to support this American classic car and truck culture and hobby by introducing kids to this world and fun vehicle events atmosphere. It is incredibly entertaining and enjoyable for all ages.
There are always great vehicles on display from another era to see and admire, along with excellent music and good family fun, with very nice automotive enthusiasts. Granted, there are still car shows hosted throughout the month of September and October, but the weekly cruise nights see a reduced kids and families attendance due to the fact that school begins in a few weeks. The weekend car shows are annual events and they still see a good kids and families turnout until the end of October.
Weekly cruise nights traditionally end the last weekend of September every season. Weekend cruise nights still attract a crowd, but the weekday cruise nights see a drop in attendance because it’s a hectic time of year with kids going back to school and having early bedtime schedules.
Please try to stop by one of these weekly cruise nights with the kids before this season comes to an end. It’s a long time between the end of the season for car shows and next spring. Please make sure kids are also properly restrained and buckled up in backseats driving back and forth to these automotive events.
Buckleupallofus wants to remind kids to Boost Up! Buckle Up! in backseats for safety’s sake.
