BURRILLVILLE – It’s Labor Day weekend folks.
There are plenty of barbecues happening across the state and region this weekend with family and friends in attendance. It’s very important that children do not have access to anything that could potentially start a fire in and around the home. Kids watch and often emulate what they see adults doing – often without parents knowing that they are being watched by inquiring little minds. Leaving a box of matches, individual matches or lighters unattended is a recipe for disaster when it comes to keeping children, family members and friends safe.
The Fearless Dino Protector Squad wants to remind kids not to play with fire to avoid potential burns and emergency trips to the hospital this holiday weekend. Weather conditions are forecasted to be gorgeous, opening the doors to hosting a lot of barbecues with family and friends. Please make sure kids do not have access to anything that could potentially cause a fire and harm any child.
