GLOCESTER – The Glocester Police Department arrested three suspects and seized cash, liquor and four rifles following a break in early Monday morning at Mr. Z’s By The Lake.
James Spader, 58, of East Providence; Thomas Manzo, 44, of Glocester; and Danielle Wooding, 44 of Medway, Mass. are all facing charges in the incident.
According to police, officers responded to the Putnam Pike restaurant on Monday, Oct. 13 for an alarm, and reports of a person inside the building. Police reviewed security footage and observed suspects inside the West Glocester restaurant.

The three suspects were later arrested following a traffic stop of an unregistered pickup truck on Route 44. Subsequent investigation and search of the vehicle and a home at 4 Roberge Way led to seizure of evidence connected to the burglary, including over $400 in cash, liquor and 4 rifles including an AK-47 with high capacity feeding devices, according to police.
Spader, who police say has an “extensive criminal record,” was charged with burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary, and larceny. He was presented as a bail violator in connection to a previous charge on April and held without bail.
Manzo was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and four counts of possession of a high capacity feeding device, was arraigned and released on $20,000 personal recognizance.
Wooding was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, arraigned and released on $10,000 personal recognizance.
Spader is due back in court October 20, while Manzo and Wooding must return in January.
