BURRILLVILLE – Franchise owners with a number of locations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island are now on track to open a Domino’s pizza in a space inside a Pascoag plaza by the end of the year.
S & L Pizza Inc. received a victualing license to do business at 72 North Main St. on Monday, where construction of the pizza shop is already nearly complete. Bill Mohan, a licensing and permitting consultant for the franchise said the owners anticipate a final walkthrough of the space in mid-December.

Mohan appeared at the Burrillville Town Council meeting Monday, Nov. 17 with Sara Andrade of Fall River, who he described as “one half of the best American success story you’ve ever heard.”
Andrade, a former counter worker for Domino’s – the world’s largest pizza company – owns the multi-store S & L franchise with Luis Brea, a former delivery driver, Mohan explained.
“It really is a success story,” he said.
The new restaurant will open inside Herald Square Plaza, a commercial block purchased by Alexandros & Stamatia Kontoulis of Bellingham earlier this year. The 26,354-square-foot plaza currently houses businesses including Rhode Island Credit Union, with a mix of retail and office space situated on a 6.89-acre lot.
Domino’s will occupy a 1,500-square-foot space at the front of the building.
On Monday, councilors held a public hearing on the license request, but locals were silent on the matter, with no one speaking either for or against the application.

“S & L’s a company that gives back,” said Mohan. “They support the neighborhood. They support the schools. You might see us at football games or basketball games or little league during the summer – helping out with that. I know Sara’s very, very happy about being here.”

According to documents filed with the Secretary of State, Andrade is president of the business, with Brea serving as treasurer and secretary. The pair opened their first Domino’s location in Auburn, Mass. in 2020 and has since launched other locations in the neighboring state, with their first in Rhode Island opened in Narraganset in 2022.
Councilors unanimously approved the new license.
Council President Donald Fox noted there has been a lot of talk about the business coming to Burrillville on social media.
“They are waiting for you to open those doors,” Fox said. “Congratulations – welcome to town.”

This town needs KFC that would bring in some money
Pick up a Domino’s pizza in north Smithfield because I called it in cost me 14 bucks for a small one topping pizza online it’s 5.99 for a medium Pizza worst pizza I ever had.
I heard it was like cardboard….cook at home.
Oh great ANOTHER pizza joint in Burrillville. We need industry with decent paying jobs. Next thing you know there’ll be another liquor store opening too.
low budget housing brings low budget people who want low budget food. Bye bye mom n pop anything in the NWO. “you knew it was coming, you should have moved….”
we have one that can see
Another pizza just what we need how about a chic filet or a smash burger
How about not….
NO
Why would anyone in a town with a bunch of good pizza places be “welcoming” Domino’s? Their pizza is objectively terrible.
REVENUE!!!!!
Because this is a free market system. The TC does not pick and choose which businesses it likes or wants to see. If an entrepreneur wants to set up a business and does it by the books, we “welcome” them. Why would we not? Your opinion on the pizza quality is yours and you are entitled to it, but that should not stop a business from making an investment in town for their benefit. I wish them well as I would any new business venture in our town. When someone makes a small business investment in our community, we wish them well.
Good pizza places like where ? Georges is filthy and has active loading dock in early morning hours and its not food being delivered , , And Seriio’s is for sale ,
