BURRILLVILLE – It’s Thanksgiving week, folks! That means there will be many kids and families riding inside family vehicles off to visit family and friends for the long holiday weekend. It’s the busiest travel holiday of the year.

Make sure children under the age of 12-years-old are properly restrained in vehicle backseats. Infants and toddlers should ride inside rear-facing car seats also located in vehicle backseats. Do not overload passenger vehicles and make sure everyone is properly restrained and wearing their seatbelts for safety’s sake. We want everyone to travel and arrive at their destinations safely for the Thanksgiving long holiday weekend. Please share this Buckleupallofus child passenger safety coloring cartoon with your family and friends reminding them to buckle up and drive safely.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
