GLOCESTER – A new practice, Evergreen Family Chiropractic, has moved into the space formerly held by Glocester Family Chiropractic for nearly two decades prior to the death of Dr. Matt Stone last July.
Dr. Anissa Boudreau began seeing patients on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at the 712 Putnam Pike location, which was opened as a chiropractic office in 2007 by Stone.

“Stepping into a space that was built by such a well-respected doctor is something I don’t take lightly,” Boudreau said. “His practice served the community for nearly two decades, and that kind of longevity only comes from deep trust, consistency and genuine care for people.”
Boudreau, who earned her doctorate at Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina and has been practicing for nine years in both rural North Carolina and, more recently, in Warwick, believes her philosophy as a chiropractor makes her a good fit for the space.

“The way I practice reflects what this office has meant to the community for years: taking time with patients, building relationships, and providing care that feels personal rather than rushed,” she said. “While I bring my own perspective, my goal is for patients to feel the same consistency and reassurance when they walk through the door.”

Boudreau said she didn’t know Stone personally, but in talking to his patients, she feels that she has a similar approach as the late doctor.
“My approach is all about listening first. I like to really understand someone’s story, not just their symptoms. Everyone is different, so there’s no one-size-fits-all plan when it comes to healing,” she said. “Knowing that the kind of thoughtful, personalized care [Stone] provided has been so valued in this community makes it an honor to begin this next chapter.”
Boudreau said that she is often asked why her practice is called “Evergreen.”
“The name was chosen very intentionally,” she said. “When you think about evergreen trees, they’re steady and resilient year after year. When something is described as evergreen, it’s meant to last. That’s how I think about people’s health and chiropractic care. It’s not about quick fixes or flashy solutions. It’s about helping people stay steady, even when life gets messy.”
Boudreau, 36, grew up in North Providence and Providence and currently lives in Coventry with her husband, son and a dog, she said.
“My vision is for Evergreen to be an office where families can grow together,” she said. “A place that reflects the heart of the community and the people who call it home. I can’t wait to meet you and be part of it for years to come.”
Boudreau said she is offering limited appointments for now on Wednesday and Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Online appointments can be made at www.evergreenfamilychirori.com or at (401) 285-2320.
