Nathan Cornell, president of the RI Old Growth Tree Society will offer a presentation on Rhode Island’s old growth forests on Friday, March 20 starting at 7 p.m. at Heritage Hall at 101 Green St. Learn about pockets of old growth mature, native forests in the state and their special characteristics and benefits.
The event is open to the public and is hosted by the North Smithfield Land Trust and the North Smithfield Heritage Association.
