Wrestling wins
Congratulations to Ponaganset High School boys and girls teams on their wins at the RIIL State Wrestling Championships on Sunday, March 1. The boys team won their 4th consecutive Division 1 State Title, while the Lady Chieftains won their first state title in school history.
It is reportedly the first time Rhode Island history that two teams from the same school won both championships.

Revaluation
Revaluation notices from Catalis were sent out to Glocester property owners last week – a state mandated process that aims to bring assessments in line with current market values.
Those who want to compare their change in value with that of their neighbors should visit www.catalisgov.com/nereval to see a listing of all properties, including prior assessment information. Property owners who can demonstrate that their appraised value exceeds market value can get an informal hearing by contacting Catalis Tax & CAMA at (401) 737-0300 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. by Friday, March 6 to schedule an appointment or schedule online at www.catalisgov.com/nereval.
The hearings will be held at the Glocester Town Hall at 1145 Putnam Pike next week.
NRI NOW has learned of an error on some assessments and has contacted Catalis for further information. We are hopeful we will have complete information on this soon, and readers should stop back for more information later this week.
