The town’s annual Memorial Day ceremony will take place on Monday, May 25, and this year, in honor of America’s 250th birthday, locals plan to gather at Acotes Hill Cemetery at 1049 Putnam Pike to sing the National Anthem. The ceremony will take place starting at 10:30 a.m. and will include performance of the anthem by the Ponaganset Middle School band.
