Dance
The Burrillville Parks and Recreation Department will offer a new series of dance and cheer classes starting on Monday, March 18 and continuing through Sunday, April 14. A full schedule of classes for children and young adults will include musical theater, tap, creative movement, cheer and tumbling. Most classes cost $35-$45 per month. The Burrillville High School School Improvement Team has planed a comedy night to raise money to cover the expenses of renovating the high school media center. Money will go toward improved flooring, seating, window treatments, shelving and more.
The event will take place on Friday, March 22 at Wallum Lake Rod & Gun Club, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased online at . https://www.funny4funds.com/events/burrillville-high-school-comedy-night/330..

The Burrillville Planning Board will hold their regular meeting on Monday, March 4 at the Jesse Smith Memorial Library Community room starting at 7 p.m.
The Burrillville Prevention Action Coalition will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 6 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Burrillville Middle School. BPAC will discuss, plan, and give updates on substance use prevention initiatives occurring within town and the region. Residents of Burrillville are welcome.
The Nasonville Fire District Operating Board will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 5 to discuss, in part, the future of the district and potential settlements with union employees. Trash and recycling pickup in Burrillville will be postponed for one day for the remainder of this week. Residents are asked not to put their carts curbside until Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. so they are out of the way of plow trucks.
