BURRILLVILLE – The Pascoag Utility District announced that their offices will be closed to customers as of Monday, March 16 at noon, and all scheduled electric and water disconnects will be halted temporarily.
“As always, the health and safety of our customers and employees is of the utmost importance to us here at Pascoag Utility District,” noted a release from PUD on Monday. “While the risk of contracting coronavirus/COVID-19 is still currently low, prevention is essential as this public health emergency continues to evolve.”
The company will also be discontinuing extended office hours on Thursday nights.
PUD officials have requested that customers utilize online or telephone payment channels instead of visiting the office. Customers can pay online at https://www.pud-ri.org/login or securely pay by phone 1-855-730-8710.
Payments can also be dropped in the drop box located in the front of the office. Questions can be answered by calling the office at 401-568-6222.
“Most necessary forms can be filled out using our website or by emailing a customer service representative at [email protected],” noted a release signed “Pascoag Utility District staff.”

Staff will also email forms or applications by request.
The notice said that PUD officials will also continue to monitor the company Facebook page at www.facebook.com/PascoagUtilityDistrict to provide help as needed, and provide regular updates via CodeRed and Facebook.
“We apologize for the inconvenience, but are doing our part to keep everyone healthy during these next few weeks,” the notice stated. “We truly appreciate our customers and we thank you for your help during this challenging time.”
