PAWTUCKET – A Burrillville-based meat producer has opened a new recruiting office in Pawtucket to help staff its 600-employee plant on Broncos Highway.

Daniele International opened the location at 704 Broadway under the brand Charcuterie Artisans.

The company, which first opened in Burrillville in 1977, produces specialty Italian charcuterie and deli meats, sold to retailers including Costco and Trader Joe’s.

Owners the Dukcevich brothers sold the longtime family business to a private equity firm from Illinois, Entrepreneurial Equity Partners, last September, and completed a merger with Utah-based Creminelli Fine Meats, LLC, in January.

In a statement this week, Daniele Human Resources Director Adriana Valencia reportedly said that many of the factory’s employees hail from Spanish-speaking communities in Providence, Pawtucket and Central Falls. Noting that Daniele is constantly hiring, Valencia said it’s easier to have a satellite recruiting office to get people to apply in Mapleville.

Currently, Daniele is looking to fill 100-120 vacant positions.
