To write, “Things Are Tough All Over”, is an understatement during this car show season due to the Coronavirus. But things must still get done and life still goes on. One of those things to get done, is to still try and help charities and charitable causes that need our help.
A Buckleupallofus Kids and Family Fundraiser Car Show is scheduled for Sunday, Sept., 27, at the imPossible Dream Castle Playground in Warwick. The start time is 11 a.m. and end is at 2 p.m. The rain date is the following Sunday, Oct. 4, with same start and end times.
This car show is to help benefit the imPossible Dream Castle Playground. Unfortunately, this popular establishment has remained closed during their busy season because of the pandemic and is desperately in need of funding. Diane, the executive director, said the virus has had a huge negative impact on their organization and an event like this could help them get through the coming months.
ImPossible Dream helps disadvantage and disabled kids have a place to play and interact with one another in a safe and friendly environment every year. Except this year.
The fundraiser car show will feature the Giant Buckleupallofus Balloon, plenty of great take-home handouts for kids and families, DJ music and radio broadcast provided by Kent County’s Classic Rock Radio Station, with plenty of classic cars and trucks on display for everyone to enjoy. Awards will be presented to spectators selected showcase vehicles and Buckleupallofus Child Passenger Safety Fridge Magnets will be handed out to the first 100 Show Vehicle entries.
To help support imPossible Dream Castle Playground there will be a $20 entry fee for all classic vehicles. All proceeds benefit the playground. Spectators can attend free. There will also be a 50/50 raffle with all proceeds also going directly to benefit imPossible Dream.
This event is sponsored by Buckleupallofus, Sandy Motors, Kent County’s Classic Rock Radio Station, Motorhead Magazine and Acumen Printing. This will be a safe distancing car show and face masks will be required. If you forget, or don’t have one, a face mask will be provided to you. Portable rest rooms will also be provided for your convenience.
We want everyone to help us provide funds for imPossible Dream with this Buckleupallofus Kids and Family Fundraiser Car Show but also do it safely and responsibly. Please help us support imPossible Dream Castle Playground by attending this car show and always remember to Buckleupallofus!
