The North Smithfield Food Pantry’s pickup days this month are Tuesdays Jan. 19 & 26 from 5:30 to 6 p.m., and Saturdays Jan. 23 and 30 from 10 to 10:30 p.m. The pantry is available for North Smithfield residents and recipients must have a photo ID and bill conforming their address.
It is located at Slatersville Congregational Church, and due to the pandemic food is currently distributed by drive through. Visitors are asked to stay is their cars and line up on Greene Street. Those with questions are instructed to call (401) 678-0356.
