A virtual 5K organized by North Smithfield High School senior Hailey Hurteau to raise money for Parkinson’s Champions will take place on Saturday, April 10, at 9 a.m. Participants are invited to sign up online and run or walk the race from their chosen location. The registration fee is $25, and people can also donate online. All of the money will go toward research for a cure as well as ensuring care for those living with Parkinson’s disease.
