Cleanups are ongoing in celebration of Earth Day in Burrillville, and there is still time to volunteer and take part. Burrillville’s official Earth Day is Saturday, April 24, but residents can also choose to pick up litter in town any day through Friday, April 30 and receive supplies to help, with trash to be collected by the Department of Public Works.
To take part in the effort, residents should contact Trash & Recycling Coordinator Andrea Hall at [email protected] or (401) 710-4214, and let her know where they plan to collect trash. Hall will set up an appointment to provide supplies, and work can be done anytime through the end of the month.
