She was a woman of great faith and a communicant of St. Aidan-St. Patrick Parish, Cumberland. Her faith guided her throughout her life.
Jacqueline was an avid reader. She enjoyed regularly going to breakfast with her friends and out to dinner with her family. She was a member of the Cumberland Community Chorus and also a volunteer with Lincoln Visiting Nurse Association for more than 10 years.
Jacqueline was a social worker for the Burrillville School System for more than 40 years until her retirement. Although she retired from the school system she continued to do per diem work for various schools. She was a tireless advocate for the students within the school system and considered her work a vocation.
She is survived by her son; Joseph H. Dailey. and his wife Christine of Cumberland. Her three daughters; Susan D. Fish and her husband Jim of Millville, MA., Kathleen “Kathy” A. Tracy of Cumberland and Ann D. Fitman and her husband Neil of Whitinsville, MA. Her six grandchildren; John Tracy, Ryan Fish, Matthew Fish, Michael Fitman, Joseph Fitman and Katie Ramsey, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Jacqueline’s Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Friday, May 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. and continuing on Saturday, May 15, at 9 a.m. in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. in St. Aidan-St. Patrick Parish, 1460 Diamond Hill Road Cumberland. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
