NORTH SMITHFIELD – Three people were arrested this week for breaking windows at the former Halliwell Elementary School after police were able to identify the suspects through surveillance video.
Emily Lariviere, 18, of North Smithfield; Kristen Nelson, 23, of Wellesley, Mass.; and one juvenile, also of North Smithfield, have each been charged with one count of vandalism, according to a release from the North Smithfield Police Department.
Police say they reviewed video footage after receiving a complaint regarding vandalism at the currently vacant former school on Tuesday, May 18.
The suspects are scheduled to appear for a hearing at a later date.
