River’s North to play fundraiser for Sweet’s Hill Sunday

It is the last week to purchase tickets for the fundraiser to Save Sweets Hill, a concert and BBQ scheduled for Sunday, July 25. Band RIver’s North will play the event, to be held at the Townsmen Club in Mapleville. It is the latest in a series of events aimed at saving the 150-acre East Avenue property from development.

Tickets for the event cost $20, with proceeds to go toward purchase of the property, and are available by calling (401) 447-1560 or sending an email to [email protected].
