Monday, Aug. 9 was a holiday in Rhode Island and both Burrillville and North Smithfield Town Hall were be closed for the occasion.
It was also a trash holiday, with be no trash or recycling pickup on Monday, and pickup delayed one day for the remainder of the week.
Burrillville resident can be direct any questions on trash and recycling pickup to the Department of Public Works, Refuse & Recycling at (401) 568-4440 ext. 12.
