NORTH SMITHFIELD – A man from Harrisville playing Keno at a North Smithfield bar and restaurant this week won $18,000, according to a release from the Rhode Island Lottery.
The man visited Gator’s Pub at 1402 Victory Highway on Monday, Sept. 27 and wagered $5 on a 6-spot game – a potential $6,000 win. He added Keno Plus for an extra $1 and the three multiplier was drawn turning combined win into $18,000.
The winner told lottery officials he plays the numbers often, using a combination of birthdays and ages, and has been lucky with them in the past. He claimed his winning ticket on Thursday, Sept. 30.
