Red, White & Brew hosts raffle fundraiser
Red, White and Brew Coffeehouse is holding a raffle for a piece of artwork donated by artist Chris Mills to benefit the Veterans Memorial Museum in Woonsocket. For a chance to win the piece, an American flag created from reclaimed wood, just visit the shop at 601 Great Road. The shop will also accept donations for the museum, located at 78 Earle St. in Woonsocket, which holds one of the largest collection of veterans artifacts from the Revolutionary War to today.
Eco Depot
There will be an Eco Depot collection day open to all Rhode Island residents on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 1117 River St. in Woonsocket from 8 a.m. to noon. Other materials to be collected include household hazardous waste and electronics.
Police recruiting

Spooky Walk
North Smithfield Public Library will host Spooky Walk on Thursday, Oct. 28 starting at 6 p.m. The grounds of the library have been transformed into a spooky land for the all ages family friendly event, which will also include pumpkin painting, games and a spooky story. Costumes are encouraged and registration is required by calling the library at (401) 767-2780.
