Santa calling
The Burrillville Parks & Recreation Department is registering families for the annual Santa Calling program, for town children in grades two and under. Kids will get a chance to speak with Santa on the phone between Dec. 1 & 5 and tell him their wishes. The deadline to register for a call is Wednesday, Nov. 24.

Sample sale
Burrillville-based Alashan Cashmere will hold their annual sample sale over the upcoming weekend. Thousands of items including men’s and women’s apparel, throws and accessories will be available as part of end-of-year inventory. Visit the shop at 866 Broncos Highway on Friday, Nov. 19 from 5 to 9 p.m. or Saturday, Nov. 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bravo anniversary
Bravo Brewing Company will hold an event celebrating their second year in business on Saturday, Nov. 20 with food from Farm to Sandwich, entertainment by Paul Juneau Music, and a special release beer collaboration with 13 Stars Hot Sauce. Celebrate with the town-based brewery at 75 Pascoag Main St. from 6 to 9 p.m.
