First Universalist Church in Harrisville will hold the lighting of the historic chandelier on Friday, Dec. 17 with a service starting at 7 p.m. Those who would like to see the lighting of the chandelier should arrive 20 minutes early. Celebrate Christmas with the story of Christmas, the singing of Christmas carols and friends, with a service by Rev. Patricia Hatch. The 1925 pipe organ will be played by Peter Lamoria, featuring the Choir of Our Lady of Good Help and St. Theresa Shrine. Refreshments will be served following the service.
