BURRILLVILLE – Bucky, “Bundles of Joy,” Kids Winter Coat Drive began this weekend, and ends on the last day of February. This Bucky Campaign will be distributing winter coats, hats, scarves, gloves and mittens to children in need across three states this season.

Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut are established distribution states. The winter coat drive has many drop off locations, along with many corporate and community business partners and media partners that are helping Bucky obtain these needed items for kids to keep them warm outdoors.

You too could help out by dropping off new or good condition used winter clothing in a variety of kids’ sizes inside these drop boxes at the partners’ locations over the next six weeks. Bucky’s primary campaign partners are Starbucks, 7-Eleven Stores, Postal Centers USA, Staples, Rockland Trust Banks, Sandy Motors, DiPonti Communications, I-105.5 FM Classic Rock Radio Station, WBLQ FM The Time Machine Oldies Radio Station, Car Show Nationals and Children Across America. Winter clothing items can be dropped off inside boxes on display inside participating locations where you see the full color image of the popular and award-winning, child passenger safety cartoon character, Buckleupallofus.

Free Buckle Up All Of Us  and cold weather coloring posters, just like this Sunday’s Cartoon, are also available at these participating drop box locations reminding kids and families to always buckle up, and how to stay safer during outdoor winter weather activities. Parents and kids can color the cartoons together, discuss safety and display them on family refrigerators everywhere.

Bucky just wrapped up his November and December annual toy drives, providing hundreds of toys for children and families in need thanks to the generous donations. Now, Bucky’s new goal is to help keep little kids bundled up and warm during the harsh New England winter season.

Thank you in advance, for your generous winter clothing donations. Please support our corporate, community business and media partners. They partner with Bucky Kids Safety and Charity Campaigns because they care about children.
