Vaccine clinic
Glocester Emergency Management will be operating a COVID-19 children’s vaccination clinic for the Pfizer vaccine on Saturday, February 5, at the West Glocester Elementary School at 111 Reynolds Road. The clinic was postponed from January 29, and all who were registered for the original clinic have automatically been moved to the new date.

All Women’s Recovery
Revival Strength and Recovery at 16 Terry Lane will host a Women’s All Recovery meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 1 starting at 7 p.m., and every Tuesday at the community center. All women recovering from anything are welcome to join the free meetings for a safe, comfortable and nonjudgemental environment.
Pick up crafts
Glocester Manton Free Public Library has announced that pick up crafts are back starting today, Tuesday, Feb. 1. Crafts are available in the children’s room on a first come, first serve basis, and supplies are limited.
GBA swears in new officers
The Glocester Business Association held a meeting at Pinewood Pub on Thursday, Jan. 27 for installation of new officers and board members. Rep. Mike Chippendale and Sen. Jessica de la Cruz swore in the new slate, including President Paul DeBlois and new board members Michelle Keach and Dave Wright. The organization thanked outgoing President Kady Rogler for her work over the past two years.
