Lions scholarships
The Glocester Lions Club will be awarding four $1,500 college scholarships to Glocester High School seniors for the 2022/2023 college year. Applications can be obtained at the Ponaganset High School guidance department or by sending an email request to [email protected].
School launches new website
Ponaganset High School now has a new website. The school launched a page with information for students and parents on Career and Technical Education programs, graduation requirements, courses and more dubbed “Graduate Ponaganset.”

Pediatric vaccine clinic
The Glocester Emergency Management Agency will hold a COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine clinic for five to 11 year-olds on Saturday, Feb. 26 at Ponaganset High School at 137 Anan Wade Road. All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Opening soon
A new business offering daycare, boarding, training and supplies for dogs is set to open this week after some delays. Mind Your Dog at 401 Putnam Pike is set to open by the end of the week, pending a building inspection. The business plans to offer dog owners a safe, loving place to send their pet for socialization, training, play and overnight stays as needed.
