The Burrillville Police Department is thanking those who signed up to donate at the recent blood drive held at the station, noting that the department collected 33 units, saving 99 lives. The drive was organized by Sgt. Henry Yakey.
The department notes that police hope to hold another drive for the Rhode Island Blood Center soon, and may schedule one this fall.
