Covid testing
The Burrillville School District will be offering Covid-19 testing – both rapid and PCR – on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons, March 1-3, from 2-4 p.m. in the Burrillville High School cafeteria. Students, staff, and family members are invited to attend.
Tests for businesses
On the subject of testing, the town of Burrillville is reaching out to local businesses and nonprofit organizations that might want to distribute COVID-19 test kits to employees or volunteers. To get your kits, contact Jesse Smith Library at (401) 710-7800. Orders will be based on availability.

Little League
Registration is now open for Burrillville Little League with a season set to begin April 16. The league offers all levels from T-ball to junior/senior league with players age 4-16.
Players can register at burrillvillelittleleague.org.
ARPA deadline
Town officials have officially scheduled the final public meeting on distribution of American Rescue Plan Act funds, to be held Wednesday, March 9 at 6 p.m. at 105 Harrisville Main St. Watch for an agenda and link to attend virtually to be published in the coming days on the Secretary of State’s website.
The hearing also marks the deadline for submissions from residents, businesses and nonprofits seeking funding. Read more about efforts to determine how to spend the federal funding here.
Town meetings
The Pascoag Utility District Board of Utility Commissioners will hold a regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 28 starting at 2 p.m. at 253 Pascoag Main St. The agenda can be found here.
