BURRILLVILLE – The Buckleupallofus Cruisin’ Child Passenger Safety Campaign is shifting into a new gear this week, with another cruise night beginning on Wednesday, April 20, at Frederickson Farms in North Scituate.
This very popular weekly cruise night attracts show vehicle owners from across the area as far away as Central Connecticut and South Central Massachusetts. Spectators arrive throughout the evening to check out the show vehicles and patronize this great country style-plaza and enjoy great food from their establishments, as well as visit the popular stove shop store.
Buckleupallofus child passenger safety coloring posters, stickers and fridge magnets are extremely popular with the kids and their parents as take home safety reminders. Distribution of those items begins in just a few weeks. Cruisin’ Bruce Palmer will play oldies from 5 p.m. until dark, and the fun lasts all night long weather permitting.
This week’s Sunday Cartoon puts an emphasis on the traffic safety message, “Boost up, buckle up, kids.” After the kids color this poster in with crayons and markers, they can even sign the bottom under the, “Because We Care,” framed box and make it official before displaying on family refrigerators or bedroom walls.
