GLOCESTER – Under sunny skies before crowds of spectators, participants in the 96th annual Ancients & Horribles Parade showed off their talent, creativity and in some cases, politics.

The parade, which marches through Chepachet every year in celebration of Independence Day, is a long-standing tradition in the village, recognizing the, “Most Ancient & Horrible,” and “Most Patriotic” among entrants.
