Sunday cartoon: Kids Seasons of Safety coloring campaign

BURRILLVILLE – The Kids Seasons Of Safety coloring campaign originated and was launched by Hasbro Children’s Hospital more than a decade ago. There are pockets of kids safety campaigns across America that try to keep children safer, but many lack any real growth and expansion potential because the focus is geared toward a geographic area, and not a large scale campaign effort that reaches more kids and families.

Fortunately, Buckleupallofus Child Passenger Safety Campaign has a nationwide audience due to a variety of vehicle and traffic safety messages and coloring cartoon formats that are also complimented by many products and items that convey the messages. Bucky’s focus has always been related to children and vehicles.

These vehicle and traffic dangers and hazards are evident all year long, and not just during national focus weeks that occur a couple times a year. Those focus weeks are great for reaching out to communities reminding them about their safety, but Bucky is out there seven days a week and twelve months out of the year trying to encourage kids and families to be safer every single day. The car show season is in full swing now that school is out for summer vacation and kids are attending at weekly evening cruise nights as well as weekend car shows. We have four full months of outdoor automotive events ahead of us, and the Bucky Balloon will be a huge attraction at these popular venues for children, along with tens-of-thousands of kids safety coloring posters, fridge magnets and stickers.

The Kids “Seasons Of Safety” Coloring Campaign has been, and still is, utilized by police departments, fire departments, community centers, child safety advocates, organizations, daycares, libraries and schools here in New England as well as across America in an outreach effort to try and keep kids and families safer.

Please print out these weekly kids safety coloring cartoons and discuss their safety messages with children while you have fun coloring and communicating with them about safety. You won’t find this important injury-prevention and potential life saving creative content for children available every week anywhere else. Take advantage of this material and share it with others. If copying and distribution of coloring cartoons to a lot of kids isn’t something that you can manage on your own, then please share the links on social networks so others can reach out to their family and friends.

Keeping kids safer is our primary objective, and these coloring cartoons and articles are the vehicles that we use to make that happen. Now, go get those crayons, colored markers and pencils and enjoy some safety fun with your kids.
