Northern, RI – With more than 100 submissions by local families and businesses, all day entertainment, food and fun activities for visitors, the Glocester Scarecrow Festival is our top pick for things to do this weekend in northern Rhode Island.

Sponsored by the the Chepachet Grange $38 and the Glocester Libraries, the event takes place this Saturday, Oct. 15 but fear not: if you can’t make it, scarecrows will remain on display through Halloween.

We’ve listed the event among plenty of great activities taking place in our area, and below you’ll find a full schedule of entertainment and activities.
