BURRILLVILLE – Fearless Dino Protector Squad Fire Safety Coloring Placemats are now being placed on table tops for children at The Crossings Restaurant located in Putnam, Conn. This is another creative way to reach out to kids and families about safety throughout the year.
This very busy and popular restaurant now puts these child safety coloring placemats on their table tops for kids every single day of the week. Hundreds of children are now bringing these cartoon characters and safety-themed coloring posters home with them to display on the family refrigerators and bedroom walls in homes and apartments across the region. The Crossings Restaurant has even started displaying the kids finished coloring placemats in their lobby and waiting area for patrons to see while waiting to be seated. Dozens of these child safety coloring placemats are displayed on rotations every week.
Every other month starting in January, a new coloring placemat and take home coloring poster will be placed on the table tops. These future coloring placemats and posters will feature Buckleupallofus, the Bus Stop Kids, Codey’s Snow Safety Crew, Li’l Skipper & ClamCakes, “Watch Me!” Kids Club and Itty Bitty Super Dupers cartoon characters and safety messages, related to seasonal and holiday safety- themed topics, all year long.
The award-winning, “Seasons of Safety” kids coloring campaign, has taken another creative direction, and could eventually be available to children in restaurants, diners and pizza parlors everywhere in 2023. Putnam Police Department, Centreville Bank, Jim’s Auto and Upholstery, and Chase Graphics are proud sponsors, and Chase Graphics also donates all of the new kids safety coloring placemats and take home posters passed out to children dining with their families and friends at The Crossings Restaurant.
