Quarter auction

Pinewood Pub at 16 Cherry Lane will host a vendor and craft fair with a quarter auction and bingo on Thursday, Jan. 5. Shopping begins at 6 with paddles up at 6:30 p.m. The event will include a 50/50 raffle with proceeds to benefit Noah Strong.

Meeting calendar

The town of Glocester has released a meeting calendar for 2023 with the dates boards and commissions will meet at Town Hall at 1145 Putnam Pike. The complete schedule can be found here.

Play-Doh Pals

Harmony Public Library will host a Play-Doh Pals program in January for children ages 2-6. The program will be held Thursdays, Jan. 5, 12 and 19 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m Registration is required by calling the library at (401) 949-2850.

Democratic Town Committee

The Glocester Democratic Town Committee will hold an online reorganizational meeting on Thursday, Jan. 5 starting at 7 p.m. The meeting is open to any registered Glocester Democrat. For more information, message the organization directly.

Town meetings

The Foster Glocester Regional School Committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 3 starting at 5:30 p.m. at Ponaganset High School at 137 Anan Wade Road. The agenda is here.

The Economic Development Commission is scheduled to hold a meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 3 starting at 7 p.m. at Town Hall according to the town website.

The Glocester Town Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 3 starting at 7 p.m. at Glocester Town Hall. The meeting will include swearing in of elected officials and election of officers and the agenda can be found here.

The Glocester Budget Board is scheduled to hold a meeting on Wednesday, Jan 4 starting at 7 p.m. at Glocester Town Hall.
