Cookie Walk
The North Smithfield Public Library will host a Cookie Walk fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 11, with all proceeds to benefit the facility. Guests are invited to fill a bag with homemade cookies for just $10. The event will take place at the library at 20 Main St. from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until cookies run out.
Basic needs pantry
North Smithfield High School is now accepting items for a new Basic Needs Pantry where students can access necessities. The school is collecting deodorant, razors, shaving cream, tampons, pads, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, shampoo, socks, t-shirts and healthy snacks. Clean & Green
The North Smithfield Clean & Green Day Committee announced the date this week for the 2023 town-wide cleanup. The event will be held on Saturday, April 22, with details to be announced, and sign ups expected to open soon.

Save the date
The North Smithfield Arts Committee has scheduled a kickoff event on Thursday, March 2 for a new exhibition at Town Hall showcasing art by local youth. School arts teachers will join committee members at the kickoff, to be held at 83 Greene St. starting at 4 p.m. The student are exhibit will be on display at Town Hall through the month of March.
