BURRILLVILLE – An as yet unclaimed winning Powerball ticket was purchased at a Burrillville store for Wednesday’s drawing this week.
According to lottery officials, the $100,000 Power Play winner was sold at North Country Store at 172 Chapel St. in Harrisville. The winning ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball® number to win $50,000. Since the Power Play® feature was added to the wager for an additional $1, the prize was multiplied by 2.
The numbers drawn on Wednesday, April 12 were 9, 36, 41, 44 and 59 with a Powerball number of 4.
The Rhode Island Lottery noted that it is the second time this month that a $100,000 winning ticket was sold in the state. Saturday’s estimated Powerball® jackpot is $219 million.
