Exhibit
The Burrillville Land Trust’s new exhibit, Stories from the Land, will be on display at Jesse Smith Memorial Library starting this week on Monday, May 1 and will remain in place through Friday, May 26. Stories and photographs documenting local land owners efforts to preserve their properties will will be available for viewing on the halls of the facility anytime during regular library hours.
Country Line Dancing
Toti’s Tavern at 8 Callahan School St. will host Country Line Dancing Night on Tuesday, May 2 from 7 to 10 p.m. taught by Kristen & Kelsey of B%tches ‘n Boots. Wear your best cowboy boots and enjoy a fun filled night of line dancing with a $5 cover.
Light the Night
The Pascoag Fire Department will be participating in the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Memorial Light the Night program again this year in honor and remembrance of Safety Officer Lt. Richard Jenks, who died in the line of duty on February 14, 2018.
PFD stations will be lit in red from Thursday, May 4 through Sunday, May 7 in honor of Jenks, and all members of the fire service who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
Prom Dress Party
The Assembly Theatre will host a free prom dress event on Friday, May 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. Gowns will be available in various styles and sizes for those attending an upcoming prom.

The Burrillville Planning Board will hold a meeting on Monday, May 1 in the community room of Jesse Smith Memorial Library starting at 7 p.m. The agenda is here.
