BURRILLVILLE – An event celebrating completion of a mini-park in Pascoag, while also highlighting developments in the village’s business community, has been deemed a success, with town officials and organizers vowing to hold more such gatherings in the future.

The Fountain Square Spring Splash was put on by the Burrillville Redevelopment Agency on Saturday, June 3, a block party featuring vendor booths, carriage rides, a scavenger hunt, live music and more. Originally scheduled for Saturday, May 20, the event was postponed due to rain and forecasts remained threatening on the rain date, moving some of the party indoors.

BRA Chairman Jim Langlois told NRI NOW that his group is already in the process of planning for another event, potentially to be held this fall.
