GLOCESTER – The Rhode Island Lottery announced another big win in northern Rhode Island this week after a Wakefield man played Keno at a Glocester roadhouse.
Jamie True won $10,250 playing Keno Plus at Cady’s Tavern at 2168 Putnam Pike, Chepachet. True reportedly wagered $5 on a 5-spot game, matched all five numbers drawn, to win $2,050. However, since he opted to play Keno “Plus,” and the 5X multiplier was drawn, his prize turned into $10,250.
Asked how he’ll spend the winnings, True reportedly told lottery officials he’s paying, “bills, bills and more bills.”
